About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Triage and Practice Nursing Professional to join our dynamic team in Cairns, Far North Queensland. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in identifying and triaging suitable patients, providing front-line care while collaborating with General Practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to efficiently triage patients, ensuring timely and effective care.
2. High-Quality Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care, taking decisive actions for patients requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration.
3. Patient Education: Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed, empowering them to manage their health effectively.
4. Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and promptly, maintaining up-to-date records of patient interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. A clinical background in General Practice and/or Triage is essential, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
2. The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, prioritizing patient needs and maintaining a professional approach at all times.
3. Effective time management and prioritization skills are required, enabling you to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
4. Flexibility to work across various shifts and days is essential, including weekends and Public Holidays.
5. Certification in ALS/CPR and AHPRA Registration are mandatory, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Working Hours and Location:
