Job Title: Support Care Worker
MacKillop Family Services is seeking a support care worker in Wimmera Southwest to assist children and young people, along with their carer families, by providing safe transport to placements, appointments, education, and family visits, supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring safety, confidentiality, and quality care while working collaboratively with carers, families, and colleagues.
This is a casual opportunity based in Warrnambool within our Home-Based Care program. The position reports to the Home-Based Care Coordinator/Senior Case Manager.
Key Requirements:
* To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated genuine caring for and understanding of working with children.
* Willingness to work collaboratively with children and young people, their carers and birth families maintaining a flexible, tolerant and non-judgmental attitude.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a diversity of contexts.
