Key Responsibilities:
* General office administration, including email and diary management, filing, and collation of site documentation.
* Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination for handover to onsite teams.
* Manage onsite construction administration tasks such as SWMS documents, OHS requirements, and service connections, supporting the onsite team with additional administrative needs.
* Create and maintain subcontractor agreements and files with relevant documentation.
* Handle data entry for workflows, completing tasks as they arise and maintaining customer files with relevant documentation.
* Oversee the preparation, execution, and management of contracts for construction projects.
* Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations.
* Review and manage project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
* Monitor and track contract performance to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a Contracts Administrator role within the construction or building industry.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* A good understanding of various trade scope of works.
* Strong communication and liaison skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to handle and escalate potential issues.
* Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
* Overall building knowledge would be an advantage.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, law, or related fields (desirable).
