Data Center IT Operations Technician
The AWS Infrastructure Services team designs, plans, delivers, and operates worldwide AWS infrastructure. This role supports data center operations by installing and troubleshooting hardware, networking, and power systems.
* Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs.
* Diagnose and repair server, storage, and network device issues, including physical part replacement.
* Perform remediation or recovery of power issues on racks and participate in power & cooling events.
* Maintain daily operations with logistics and other teams.
* Work shifts on a rotational basis (4 days on/4 days off, including night shifts).
* Lift and rack equipment using provided lifting equipment.
* Travel between sites with a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
Basic Qualifications
* 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
* 1+ years of computer networking experience.
* High school or equivalent diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
