About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Management Accountant to drive financial analysis, budgeting, and procurement functions that support Challenge's operational and strategic goals.
Working closely with the CFO and senior finance leaders, you'll ensure the organisation's financial sustainability and provide clear, data-driven insights for decision-making.

Duties:
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting functions
* Assist CFO with long-term planning, financial modelling, and scenario analysis
* Oversee procurement functions in line with best practice
* Provide accurate, data-driven financial advice for strategic decision-making
* Develop and maintain financial systems and reporting tools
* Support audits, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
* Continuously improve financial policies, systems, and processes
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance role
* Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting
* Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and change management abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems
Desirable:
* CPA, CA, or other relevant postgraduate qualifications
* Understanding of the not-for-profit or community services sector (particularly disability and child protection)
