S2M Executive is partnering with a leading performance-driven agency to find an outbound Business Development Manager who can take charge of new business at scale.
This is not a junior BDM role. We're seeking a proven operator who thrives across strategy, performance, and creative; and knows how to close high-value partnerships.
What you'll do
Win new business partnerships with 7–9+ figure DTC brands
Pitch and close integrated retainers spanning performance marketing, creative production, CRO, and email/SMS
Drive recurring and project revenue targets with the support of a dedicated BDM, SDR & Marketing resource
Leverage a unique content production facility as your unfair advantage to close deals
Key responsibilities
Grow the active client roster month-on-month within 3 months of commencement
Build strong client relationships to maximise LTV, upsell opportunities, and cement long-term partnerships
Collaborate with the Head of Performance to qualify and pitch clients, ensuring seamless handover to delivery teams
Create and implement retention systems to maximise CSAT, profit, and revenue growth
Work alongside senior leadership to shape growth strategies and business trajectory
Upsell and cross-sell into creative projects including rebrands, websites, landing pages, and content shoots
Maintain clean data within HubSpot, tracking churn, sales, and marketing activity
About you:
7+ years' experience in sales with a track record of closing $500K+ annual accounts
5+ years in performance or creative agencies; you know the landscape and how to win in it
Based in Sydney (ideal), with the polish and presence to lead in-person pitches alongside senior leadership
A hunter's mentality balanced with the commercial maturity to manage long-cycle, high-value deals
