Volunteer - Event Assistant
- Contribute directly to events that raise funds and awareness for the community.
- Engage in diverse responsibilities across different types of events, from intimate gatherings to large community celebrations.
- Your support will help shape lives, fostering personal growth, skill development, and community involvement.
As an Event Assistant Volunteer, you will be at the heart of Jewish Care Victoria's community engagement initiatives. You will help organize events like fundraising dinners and awareness campaigns that impact community members across Melbourne.
Requirements:
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
- Passionate about community service and social justice
- Previous event experience is helpful but not necessary
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with guest registration and welcome activities
- Managing event logistics and vendor coordination
- Contributing to promotional activities and outreach
- Providing on-site support during events
- Handling post-event follow-up and feedback collection
- Successful completion of Police Check, NDIS clearance, and Working with Children Checks
