Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respond
Contract start 4/01/2023 to 29/12/2023.
This role can be remote if the resource has Defence experience.
Responsibilities
- conducting system safety analysis, development
- Provide advice and guidance on system safety engineering analysis techniques, processes, and software assurance necessary for design and implementation and import of material under WHS regulations
- Conducting co-ordination, direction, and evaluation of system safety activities in a CLC environment
- Planning and delivering engineering services, regulatory compliance, resource management, and project outcomes
- Conducting reviews of contract deliverables
Skills/Experience
- As the successful candidate you will possess experience in the following:
- Systems safety engineering services
- Design documents and specialist engineering reports
- Systems safety plans and procedures
- Hazard analyses and reports
- Practical experience in the development of safety management plans, and ability to coordinate, direct and evaluate system safety activities in an acquisition and sustainment environment
- Experience in contemporary safety standards used in the Defence environment
- Experience in WHS planning in Maritime Domain Workplace
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering from an Australian institution, or a qualification gained elsewhere, that satisfies the requirements of the Washington Accord for recognition as a Professional Engineer
- Maritime domain experience and combat weapons/Engineering experience is highly desirable
