Paediatric Speech Pathologist Opportunity
Mount Isa, a rural and remote town in Queensland, is seeking a paediatric speech pathologist to join their small, supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a new-graduate, early career or experienced clinician to explore a part-time or full-time position with flexible working arrangements.
The successful applicant will have the chance to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment and intervention to children and adolescents. They will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the growth and well-being of their colleagues.
This role offers a competitive salary based on experience, 5 weeks annual leave, 5 days professional development leave, paid professional development up to $10,000 through Health Workforce Queensland for eligible candidates, relocation assistance for eligible candidates, and work phone, laptop and iPad.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent), membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility to apply), a drivers licence and access to a car, current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain this), and demonstrated skills and knowledge in providing assessment and intervention to children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete assessments and deliver evidence-based, client-driven intervention to the paediatric population
* Manage your day-to-day client caseload to support positive outcomes
* Provide accurate, timely and high-quality reports and maintain accurate documentation of client progress
* Participate in continuing professional development
* Offer guidance and support to families and/or education facilities on strategies for facilitating communication and language development at home/in the community
* Develop relationships within the community and liaise with other stakeholders to provide holistic care

Salary Information:$85,000 - $120,000 per annum
