Job Summary
Our organization is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to assemble, install and refurbish mechanical tooling in our steel processing plant. This involves providing hands-on maintenance services to production teams working in a continuous manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, assemble and refurbish machine tooling.
* Conduct stocktake of spare parts.
* Inspect quality critical equipment and perform fault finding.
* Participate in roll change and preventative maintenance.
* Assist with ways to continuously improve tooling processes.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified candidate with:
* Trade qualifications in mechanical fitting or machining.
* Experience within a maintenance function.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
* Strong attention to detail with ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
