Position Summary:
The Batch Maker / Compounder / Manufacturing Operator / Blender is responsible for weighing and manufacturing batches of cosmetic products according to formula recipes and the operating procedures of manufacturing equipment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Accurately weigh ingredients following specific formulas and operating procedures to produce product batches as directed.
* Learn and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as part of daily work.
* Document all work performed according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
* Clean and sanitise all necessary manufacturing equipment as required.
* Conduct compounding tests and record results as required. Examples of tests include pH, temperature, particle analysis, etc.
* Follow batch records and processing methods with an RS Smart or similar device.
* Comply with company-mandated health, safety and quality procedures, including wearing company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where necessary
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for a self-starter who takes responsibility for their work and has meticulous attention to detail.
* Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to work in a team.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Organised and methodical.
* Able to learn quickly and think independently.
* Good numeracy and reading skills.
* Kitchen/chef experience an advantage.
* Must be physically fit to lift 25kgs.
* Must have PR or Australian Citizenship.

This position is a full time 38 hours week, on a casual basis; Tuesdays to Fridays, with Mondays off.
The pay ranges between $31.5 to 36.75 depending on experience.
