Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Category Lead to manage allocated indirect spend categories and contribute to key programs. This role can be based out of various locations across Australia, reporting to the Head of Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain, with a degree in a business or engineering discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implementation of category management strategies.
* Assist stakeholders in supply chain and procurement activities, including cost optimisation, purchasing, forecasting, and risk management.
* Contribute knowledge of supplier markets to improve competitive advantage and service outcomes.
* Support the delivery of the Australia Sector supply chain roadmap to ensure alignment with group processes, systems, and policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain.
* Degree in a business or engineering discipline.
* Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, procurement, and supplier engagement practices.
