Postdoctoral Research Associate in Photocatalysis for Environmental Remediation

About the Position
* Research Focus: Development of new photocatalyst materials and processes for efficient pollutant degradation
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Photo-Cat Group to advance expertise in photocatalysis, advanced characterization techniques, and analytical methods
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the synthesis and optimization of photocatalyst materials
* Apply advanced characterization techniques, such as electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD), to analyze material properties
* Utilize analytical methods, including gas chromatography (GC) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), to assess pollutant degradation
* Demonstrate proof-of-concept work for PFAS degradation using various photocatalyst materials
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience: Quantum dot synthesis and/or expertise in multiple photon processes
* Qualifications: Proficiency in analysis of complex PFAS solutions
