Role Summary
We are seeking a Support Officer to join our close-knit team on a full-time, permanent basis. This dynamic role will see you as the first point of contact for clients where you will process in-store sales and client orders for stockfeed & supplements and fertilisers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service and accurate product knowledge - in-store, on farm and over the phone
* Accurately quote and process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery, invoicing and account settlement
* Conduct daily banking, inventory purchasing, reconciling, receipting and reporting
* Ensure the presentation of the Rural Products store is organised and tidy
* Manage stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records and optimise product availability
About You
To succeed at this role you have:
* Previous experience in a retail environment (Agricultural products preferred)
* Demonstrated experience conducting administrative duties such as banking, processing and ordering
* Strong understanding of agricultural seasonal fluctuations, products and market trends
* Proficiency in using software applications and operating POS systems
* Current MR license, forklift license, and Agsafe accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
