Job Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following but not be limited to:
* Coordinate month‐end and year‐end financial close processes
* Oversee and review timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts each reporting period
* Apply accounting standards and internal controls to maintain accurate and reliable financial reporting
* Review and lodge GST and PAYG returns in collaboration with the Group Tax Accounting team
* Lead statutory audit processes (internal and external) and liaise with external advisors
* Support budgeting and forecasting activities with operational leaders and the Senior Financial Controller
* Analyse financial results and communicate reports across the organisation, with a focus on key KPIs
* Assist with financial modelling for new business opportunities and strategic projects
* Provide training and development for direct reports
* Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
* Strong attention to detail
* Solid technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
* Understanding of monthly management reporting cycles
* Knowledge of financial accounting processes and internal controls
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using an ERP
* Ability to work with stakeholders across all management levels
* Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
* Adaptable and flexible in a changing environment
* Ability to prioritise workload to meet KPIs
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities
