Who Are We Looking For?
We are currently seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our team as a Concierge. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the welcoming face and voice of Phil Gilbert Toyota in Lidcombe, supporting both our customers and Sales team to ensure a seamless and premium experience from the outset.
You will receive dedicated training, including the opportunity to cross-train in our Aftermarket (Car Care) department.
What Will You Be Doing?
As the welcoming face of our dealership, you’ll be at the centre of customer engagement and showroom support. Your day-to-day will include:
* Greeting and assisting all customers and visitors with warmth and professionalism
* Answering and directing calls through the dealership’s phone system, prioritising sales enquiries.
* Maintaining a polished front-of-house environment, including reception, lounge, café station, and showroom areas.
* Coordinating internal celebrations, manufacturer-led training sessions, and showroom events, including catering and setup.
* Assisting with general showroom support, errands, and administrative tasks as required.
* Monitoring facilities and reporting maintenance or stock issues to management.
* Supporting customer experience by providing local assistance (directions, taxi bookings, etc.).
* Managing dealership compliance-related administration such as toll notices, trade plate booklet, and loan car bookings.
* Backing up the Car Care team when required, including training to support their customer and admin needs.
Hours: 5-day working week, rostered across Monday to Sunday (including weekends as required by the Manager)
What You’ll Bring to the Team
We’re looking for someone who is polished, proactive, and customer-focused. Ideally, you’ll have:
* Previous experience in reception, concierge, or a customer service role.
* A confident, professional communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Confidence in using dealership systems such as TUNE (customer management, scheduling) and PODIUM (customer communications and reviews), or the ability to learn quickly.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-manage.
* Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
* Great listening skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
