Our organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team of Support Workers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and assistance to people with disabilities in their daily lives. You will provide direct support across a range of customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, as well as helping our customers access and engage with their community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and assistance to people with disabilities in supported independent living accommodation settings.
* Assist customers with domestic and personal care tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and personal grooming.
* Help customers access and engage with their community, including social activities and leisure pursuits.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays with significant availability.
* Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
* Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
* Ability to use computers and learn various software/programs.
* Smart Phone.
* Current Driver's Licence.
