Field Service Engineer (m|f|d) - Australia

Your tasks

* Provide technical support and advice to field sites. Prepare and maintain work packages, technical procedures, control sheets, methods, and documentation for installation teams at the job site.
* Proactively anticipate risks and opportunities, raising them to the Project Team. Maintain the Field Service schedule and coordinate dates with the Project Team and customer.
* Prepare specifications, technical procedures, and work descriptions for installation subcontractors and evaluate installation bids/offers.
* Facilitate clarifications with customers.
* Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related design considerations.
* Ensure availability of HSE, quality plans, and documents.
* Develop and ensure availability of project-specific procedures and safety assessments.
* Determine site layouts, tooling/fixtures, and site infrastructure requirements.
* Monitor target achievement regarding quality, schedule, and costs, supporting corrective actions.
* Facilitate identification and allocation of required internal and external resources.
* Coordinate teamwork between site and back-office.

Your profile

* University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
* Experience and technical understanding of turbines, generators, and balance of plant equipment. Project management, sub-supplier handling, and scheduling experience.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fully computer literate with MS Office, SAP, and Primavera P6 knowledge.
* Competencies in AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or equivalent are desirable.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial due to the international team setup.
* Team player with leadership and project management skills.
* Willing to stay in Australia for the project duration (approximately 4-5 years).
