We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Maintenance person to join our team at Cosmo on Bank Hotel in Adelaide. This is a temporary casual position.

Major responsibilities:
* Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and common areas
* Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
* Assist external contractors with the ongoing renovation
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
* Ensure a timely resolution of maintenance issues to maintain guest satisfaction
* Keep maintenance tools and equipment in good condition
* Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with hotel standards

Ideal requirements:
* Proven experience or relevant qualifications as a handyman or maintenance technician
* Proficiency in basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
* Carpentry experience is desirable
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
* Good communication skills
* A proactive and responsible approach to work
