Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scheduler to join our Resource Coordinator team in either Osborne Park or Maddington.
In this role, you will be responsible for efficient rostering of our direct care providers to ensure continuous high-quality service reaches all our valued clients. Reporting directly to the Resource Coordinator Team Leader, you will maintain open lines of communication with your immediate team and stakeholders to stay up-to-date on resource allocation and how it impacts service delivery.
The Role
This Reliever role will step in to cover various portfolios of clients. The working days are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday. You must be available to work shifts starting from 6am and finishing up to 5pm. Except for Sunday which is set at 9am - 5pm. There will be a training period of 6 - 8 weeks, all office based. Following the training period, you will work in the office (Osborne Park or Maddington) two days per week and the others from home. Please note that during the training period, Sundays will not be included and we will work with your preference on a fourth day (either Wednesday or Thursday).
Key tasks include but not limited to:
* Schedule and roster direct care providers and balance rosters to ensure quality service provision to clients.
* Analyse provider availability and rounds allocated to ensure most efficient use of resources.
* Monitor, manage and action notifications received from providers.
* Maintain the integrity of data within management systems to ensure accurate rostering and to achieve contractual and accreditation compliance.
* Process planned and unplanned leave including holiday period leave.
* Verify and follow-up discrepancies in direct care providers' timesheets as well as authorisation.
* Provide administration support to the Line Manager and team as delegated.
* Support and implement continuous improvement of business processes.

What we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this position has excellent computer literacy skills, outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and has a strong eye for detail. You will also meet the following criteria:
* Previous experience in a rostering/scheduling position is essential to this role
* Flexible to work varied roster within operating hours and willingness to travel to other offices in the Perth metro region
* Excellent communication (written, verbal & listening) and interpersonal skills
* Ability to autonomously manage time and organise workload
* An empathetic approach to dealing with the sensitivities of clients and providers scheduling issues
