We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a busy food manufacturing facility on afternoon shift. This is a hands‐on role in a fast‐paced FMCG environment where you will be responsible for keeping high‐speed production lines running efficiently and safely.
You will be working across a range of processing and packaging equipment, with a strong focus on breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to breakdowns and restore production quickly and safely
* Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance tasks
* Fault find and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulics
* Support production teams to minimise downtime
* Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety and GMP standards
* Record work orders and maintenance activity in CMMS systems
About You
* Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
* Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments preferred
* Strong breakdown and fault‐finding ability
* Knowledge of conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
* Ability to work independently on afternoon shift
* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

Shift Details
