About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced, dependable and motivated Hard Waste Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our hard waste collection fleet at our Campbellfield depot. This is a full time role working Monday-Friday, early starts would be required with the occasional Saturday work when necessary.
Job Requirements
* Oversee and coordinate daily council waste collection operations.
* Support the supervision of 18+ staff and 10 waste collection vehicles to ensure productive, safe, and timely fulfillment of contract requirements.
* Manage staff, including rostering, resource allocation, training, and leading a diverse team effectively.
* Oversee fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are used efficiently and safely for collection activities.
* Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck License essential.
About you
* Previous supervisory experience essential.
* Ability to problem solve in a busy setting.
* Robust communication skills - written and verbal.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a quick-paced workplace.
* Robust understanding of Safety and Fatigue management desired.
