The Opportunity
Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Officer – Hot StripMill (HSM) Gauges Maintenance team, PortKembla, PortKembla Manufacturing facility.
What Will You Do?
- Provide technical knowledge and a root cause analysis approach to all equipment problems using problem‐solving processes to maintain asset performance.
- Day‐to‐day management of plant performance and plan, organise & oversee the safe execution of maintenance activities.
- Inspect and understand the condition of all plant and equipment, seeking ways to improve performance and input to maintenance strategies.
- Support improvements in gauges asset capability, upgrades & product quality systems across HotMills.
More About You
- Electrical trade qualifications; or electrical engineering qualifications with practical experience.
- Electrical supervisor or contractor licence (NSW).
- Technical experience within a maintenance function.
- Problem‐solving and reliability improvement experience.
- A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
