Job Description:
As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient supply, handling, storage and distribution of materials to field staff and contractors. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehousing and inventory controls and processes, with knowledge of manual handling techniques, Dangerous Goods and WHS practices. A current forklift license, construction white card, and valid Australian driver's license are also essential requirements.
This role involves regular travel across Queensland and Northern Territory, supporting over 10 locations. Therefore, a strong commitment and willingness to travel is crucial for success in this position.
About the Role:
We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Materials Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking inventory movements, stocktakes, and cycle counts. They will also liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to meet material requirements, maintain accurate records, and use inventory systems for tracking and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Warehouse and or Inventory management (desirable)
* Experience in warehousing and inventory controls and processes
* Knowledge of manual handling techniques, Dangerous Goods and WHS practices
* Current forklift license, construction white card and valid Australian driver's license
* Familiarity with SAP or other WMS systems
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
