About the Opportunity
We're seeking experienced Senior Electrical Engineers and Leaders to join our team in Osborne, South Australia. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership and guidance across complex electrical engineering projects, ensuring designs meet rigorous engineering principles, safety standards, and customer requirements. You'll foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence within your team while driving successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Deliver electrical engineering expertise for complex systems and projects.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
* Ensure compliance with engineering principles, safety and regulatory standards, and customer requirements.
* Develop and review electrical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, calculations, specifications, and reports.
* Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
* Support innovation and continuous improvement in design practices.
About you
* Degree-qualified engineer in Electrical, Electronics, or similar (eligible for membership with Engineers Australia at MIE Aust level).
* Significant experience in electrical engineering within heavy engineering, shipbuilding, or defence environments.
* For senior roles: proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
