At Riverina Cardiology, we have been providing exceptional patient care to the Riverina community for over 30 years. Due to continued growth in the demand for our services, we are seeking applications from individuals with a positive, "can do" attitude to provide vital administrative support to our team of highly experienced cardiologists.
If successful, you would be joining an experienced team of Medical Secretaries with over 50 years of combined experience. 1 on 1 training and support will be provided to you while you learn the ropes in this busy, multifaceted role.
Duties would include:
* Attending to patient enquiries, both in person and over the phone.
* Efficiently scheduling patient appointments.
* Billing of inpatient and outpatient consults in accordance with practice requirements.
* Lodgment of claims to Medicare and/or private health funds.
* Organisation of hospital admissions and scheduling of procedures.
* Maintenance of patient files in a secure and confidential manner.
Upon successful completion of your basic training, opportunity exists to take your career to the next level, working exclusively with an assigned cardiologist and taking responsibility for providing high-level secretarial support in all aspects of their daily clinical administration.

Previous experience as a Medical Secretary or Medical Receptionist will be highly regarded.
Hours of Work
Due to operational requirements, you will need to be available to commence work between 8am and 8:30am. Shifts conclude at 5pm, unless otherwise negotiated prior.
You will ideally be seeking full time, or 4 days per week of work to be successful for this position. A 9 day fortnight is available for those seeking full time hours.
