Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 7:7 roster, rotating day shift roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
As the Operator Maintenance Scaffolder, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures across various operational areas of the mine site.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
* Interpret scaffold plans and confirm correct setup and load limits
* Carry out pre-start checks, risk assessments and safety inspections
* Tag, document and maintain accurate scaffold records
* Work safely at heights and in confined spaces while supporting project teams
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
* 3 years plus experience working in Fixed Plant mining environment
* Compliance with Australian Safety regulations
* Teamwork, communication, and willingness to step up
Qualifications for this position are:
* High Risk Work licence - SB, SI, SA, (Advanced Scaffolding desirable)
* Accredited Working in Confined Spaces and Working at heights Training
