ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently searching for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant on a casual basis to join our close-knit team in Deception Bay, QLD.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including stock management, invoicing, delivery and installation.
More specifically, your duties may include:
* Processing orders for dispatch
* Maintaining a tidy and orderly warehouse
* Assisting with the unloading of containers
* Liaising with customers and other departments
* Deliveries and installation
* Assembling stock
* Assisting with minor repairs to damaged or faulty stock
* Administering stock control
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
ABOUT YOU
To be successful for this role, you should ideally have the following:
* Prior experience in a similar role
* Hold a current C-Class Drivers Licence
* Hold a current Forklift Licence, or willing to obtain
* A current Criminal Record Check and NDIS check, or willing to obtain
* Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
* Strong computer literacy skills
* A positive can-do behaviour and a passionate approach to all aspects of your duties
* Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to complete high volumes of manual handling
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
