M&G Hotel Group is seeking a hands‐on Group Projects & Operations Manager to lead group‐wide operations, capital project delivery, and new asset integration across our national accommodation portfolio.
This role is responsible for the end‐to‐end delivery of refurbishments, developments, operational systems, and new acquisitions across 12 accommodation assets spanning hotels, serviced apartments, and caravan parks, with further growth planned.
Working directly with ownership and the Directors, you will translate strategy into built outcomes, scalable systems, and improved commercial performance. Operating within a lean structure, this role suits a senior leader who is comfortable owning delivery, not just oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Projects, Developments & Acquisitions
* Lead delivery of portfolio‐wide capital works including refurbishments, new cabins, civil works, and infrastructure upgrades
* Manage development and commissioning of new assets
* Coordinate new acquisitions, including due diligence input, operational handover, refurbishment, rebranding, and uplift works
* Deliver installations including solar, batteries, CCTV, digital locks, signage, laundry equipment, boom gates, and power infrastructure
* Control scope, cost, contractors, timelines, and quality outcomes
Operations & Portfolio Standards
* Establish group maintenance programs and asset standards
* Standardise operational systems across new and existing assets (laundry, maintenance, security, access control)
* Support site leadership to drive operational consistency and customer experience excellence
Commercial, Systems & Governance
* Develop and manage capex budgets and approval processes
* Streamline procurement, purchasing, and payment systems
* Oversee transactional banking and process upgrades
* Support group technology initiatives, including AI concierge rollout
* Provide clear, disciplined reporting to ownership and Directors

* Strong commercial and cost‐control capability
* Comfortable working directly with owners and senior stakeholders
* Practical, decisive, and effective in lean operating environments
