About the Kitchen Hand Opportunity:We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full time Kitchen Hand / Cleaner.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for our staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and appliances.
* Maintain spotless floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in both kitchen and common areas.
* Manage waste disposal by regularly emptying trash bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
* Consistently clean and disinfect countertops, tables, and other surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
* Monitor and restock cleaning supplies to ensure they're always available.
* Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients.
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
* Work closely with kitchen staff to uphold cleanliness standards and enhance efficiency.
* Accept additional duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
About the Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
* Capable of handling a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 15 kg.
* Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a keen attention to detail.
* Excels in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a fast-paced environment.
* Possesses good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Manages pressure effectively, staying calm and focused under challenging conditions.
