Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Insurance Building Supervisor to join our team, based in Bendigo, Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, managing contractors, and ensuring the efficient and effective completion of insurance building projects in Regional Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive insurance building assessments and prepare detailed reports.
* Manage and coordinate contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
* Operate autonomously, taking ownership of multiple projects from start to finish.
* Liaise with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the assessment and repair process.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
* This role requires home office based work 2-3 days per week using claim management software - strong computer skills and the ability to work autonomously at a computer submitting reports, reading data, communicating with clients, contractors, and co-workers is a must have.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in insurance building industry.
* Strong understanding of building regulations.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Proficiency in relevant software and technology (Office 365 inc MS Teams, Prime Ecosystem).
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
