Role Overview
Deliver high‑quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements, and relevant professional competencies.
Responsibilities
* Minimum of two years post‑graduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and/or Older Persons Mental Health Service area.
* Provide assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
* Deliver evidence‑based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, including development and implementation of specialised treatment programmes.
* Act as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to other team members as required.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Overseas qualified Social Work candidates require a "certification of eligibility" letter from the AASW.
* Essential registrations/licences must remain current and valid at all times; status may be checked during employment.
Details of Appointment
Permanent full‑time day worker position. Working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary
$110,425 to $121,907 per annum. 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.
