HSEQ Business Partner

We are seeking an HSEQ Business Partner to promote a safety, health, and environmental compliance culture across various industrial operations.
This role involves ensuring employee wellbeing, collaborating with operations to review risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and maintaining information to support our regulatory compliance framework.
The ideal candidate is a pragmatic individual capable of managing multiple projects and demands effectively, with a strong focus on employee engagement through targeted solutions and a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Reporting to the Head of Safety, Environment and Governance, responsible for:
* Risk Management: Ensure risk assessments are completed and implemented for site activities.
* Risk Register Management: Manage and update the site's risk register and controls.
* Chain of Responsibility Support: Provide expert advice and support for Chain of Responsibility risk mitigation and reduction.
* HSEQ System Implementation: Support managers, supervisors, and employees in implementing the Group's HSEQ Management System and maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications.
* Incident Investigation and Corrective Actions: Lead and assist sites in completing incident investigations and corrective actions promptly.
* Audit and Compliance: Maintain schedules and report on audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
* Training and Improvement: Monitor and coordinate training and improvement programs.
* Injury and Claims Management: Manage injury, rehabilitation, and claims processes.
* HSEQ Practices: Monitor HSEQ practices across onsite construction activities.
* Cultural Improvements: Drive cultural improvements through collaboration with operational leaders and personnel.
Qualifications and Education:
* A Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and a Class C Driver's License are preferred.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
* Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
* Training Qualification: A training qualification is a plus.
