Your role
Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery support the NSW community by providing access to justice services, through the protection of rights and public safety initiatives.
Located in the local court, the Senior Client Service Officer provides complex administrative services to meet statutory obligations and delivers high quality and professional services to clients.
The role supervises a small team, provides guidance and effectively allocates resources to meet the Department's requirements.
The role may be required to perform some quasi-judicial and procedural functions and will be required to travel on circuit with the Court to other locations such as Glen Innes, Tenterfield and Walcha.
An Australian driver's licence and willingness to undertake travel (including overnight travel) are essential.
What you'll do
As part of Court Services, you will provide complex administrative services, prepare accurate court orders, reports and correspondence.
You'll supervise and mentor a small team, allocating resources each day to achieve positive business outcomes.
You will also manage complex enquiries, provide procedural assistance to clients and team members, this includes interpreting legislation, policies and court procedures.
What we're looking for
People with experience developing and motivating teams, and capacity to react quickly to changing work priorities.
