About the Role
Based in Perth, you will manage commercial property claims from first notification through to settlement, working closely with policyholders, insurers, and service providers to deliver fair and efficient claim outcomes.
This role combines field‐based investigations and office‐based claim management, ensuring claims are managed in line with service standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage commercial property claims through the full claims lifecycle
* Conduct site inspections and investigations to assess losses
* Review policies, documentation, and evidence to determine coverage and liability
* Engage with policyholders, insurers, and service providers throughout the claims process
* Prepare clear reports and maintain compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory standards
* Negotiate and settle claims within delegated authority levels
About You
You will bring experience in commercial claims or loss adjusting and have a strong understanding of general insurance practices and regulations.
You are also:
* A strong communicator with excellent report writing skills
* Analytical with sound problem‐solving and decision‐making ability
* Customer‐focused with an empathetic and professional approach
* Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
* Comfortable working independently in a field‐based role
Requirements
* Previous Loss Adjusting or Commercial Claims experience
* Current driver's licence
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Loss adjusting qualifications or relevant professional qualifications (preferred)
