Career Opportunities: Supplier Relationships Principal (12166)Requisition ID 12166 - Posted - Digital Capabilities & Commercial - Digital - Melbourne - AEMO Office (6) - OtherThe Digital Capabilities & Commercial department is accountable for common Digital delivery capabilities as well as shared services; commercial, partnering, testing, knowledge management, Digital training, delivery methods/handbooks, supply resource management (BAU/Projects), Enterprise Data Management.Working closely with the Digital teams and Digital Sourcing & Vendor Manager, the purpose of this role is to establish and manage a Supplier Relationship Management framework, create and maintain supplier dashboards and balanced scorecards for strategic suppliers, and manage supplier segmentation.Role responsibilities:Establishing and managing the Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Segmentation frameworksDevelop and manage relationships with suppliers in line with the Supplier Segmentation Framework ensuring suppliers are assessed on a regular basis to ensure the appropriate level of governance is appliedSupport development implementation of Vendor Management tools to ensure appropriate data and information is collected to enable effective management of supplier relationshipsIdentify and execute initiatives related to how AEMO engages with suppliers to drive process improvements and cost savingsProvide training and guidance to Digital teams on supplier management principles and requirements relating to Operational Contract ManagementCreate and manage governance calendar and facilitate and lead governance meetings with Digital Leadership and strategic suppliersCollaborate with Digital Asset Management managers to ensure information relating to entitlements and spend is aligned and in a form that can be used for budget forecastingExperience and Knowledge:Extensive experience in procurement, supplier relationship management, or vendor governance in Digital procurementDemonstrable experience managing strategic supplier relationships in Digital across multiple categoriesDemonstrable experience working with various performance and governance obligations including SLA/KPI reporting, facilitating and leading governance meetings and committeesStrong experience leading and managing vendor risk mitigation and contract compliance frameworksExperience with third-party risk management focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory complianceExperience developing and implementing supplier management process improvementKnowledge of advanced relationship management principles including strategic partnerships and innovation-driven vendor engagement, procurement analytics and data-driven decision makingEducation/Certificates:Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate procurement & supply chain, commerce, accounting, business, or similar qualificationChartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) level 5 or 6, Australian Institute of Procurement & Contract Management (AIPCM) Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or equivalent.AEMO is an equal opportunity employer.
