We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive business outcomes across a national row-crop portfolio. As General Manager Commercial, you will lead the commercial function and develop strategies to maximize capital efficiency, revenue, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute disciplined capital allocation strategies aligned to the corporate plan.
* Oversee commodity marketing and risk management functions, driving pricing strategy through collaboration with internal and external advisors.
* Provide scenario analysis, benchmarked performance reporting, and forward forecasts that link paddock decisions to financial and capital outcomes.
* Align farm plans with top-quartile benchmarks in efficiency, productivity, people engagement, and carbon emissions.
* Lead a data-driven architecture that protects intellectual property and enables informed decision-making in the paddock.
* Champion metrics measuring operational excellence and return on invested capital.
* E nsure robust governance and reporting.
* Collaborate with executive leadership, farm managers, and key stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives.
About You:
* You possess 10+ years of senior leadership experience in commercial or finance within a production environment.
* You have a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams, with strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
* You bring depth in capital-intensive settings and commercial negotiation for high-value asset procurement, along with strength in managing strategic supplier and customer relationships.
