Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a dedicated and strategic Payroll Manager to support payroll governance, compliance and efficiency by overseeing fortnightly payroll processing for our schools. With a dedicated and collaborative team this role is ideal for an experienced financial or payroll leader ready to make a meaningful impact.

About The CESL Office
The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in finance, business or accounting or relevant experience in Payroll
* Proven experience in payroll management or supervisory roles
* Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting and understanding industrial instruments in the context of configuring payroll systems, payroll processing and payroll analytics
* Strong knowledge of legislation underpinning payroll
* Demonstrated skills in research, analytical assessment and problem solving
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
