The Prendiville Group owns and operates numerous iconic tourism, hospitality and entertainment facilities. Represented in a host of different environments, from the red earth mining centre of Karratha, to the lush vineyards of the South West, to the blue waters and white beaches of Rottnest Island, and the rich port heritage of Fremantle.

The Role
As our Night Porter, you will play a pivot role in ensuring seamless front of house operations to support the hotel for the upcoming day, but also ensure compliance for the day the team have just completed.
To be successful in this role, you must be detail orientated, thrive in a solo environment, have a knack for investigating, filing and ensuring accuracy of databases & invoicing, but most importantly be self-sufficient in supporting required administration needs of the business and providing elevated customer experience to our guests who need a helping hand throughout the nighttime.
This role would suit a Guest Services Agent or junior F&B professional looking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced administrator looking for a sea-change – whilst working on one of the dreamiest locations in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Take charge of the reception desk duties and manage the crucial front office night audit process, ensuring that nightly reports are accurate and up to date.
Accurately allocate account postings, update guest reservations, communicate missing information to reception team, prepare billing information for departure and arrival reservations.
Follow Night Audit procedures for rolling system and preparing reports for the following day.
Maintain reception area, restock nightly, maintain public areas and follow scheduled cleaning guidelines throughout the property.
Ensure the property remains presentable and clean ahead of the new day.
Report any safety concerns or violations to superiors, prioritising guest comfort and safety at all times.
Ensure equipment and facilities are safe, clean and organised. Follow emergency procedures and report hazards.
Carry night phone and respond quickly to guest requests.
Assist the morning team with their operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience that extends throughout the entire day and night.
Embrace the distinctive night shifts at our hotel, spanning from 12am to 8am.
About You
Prior experience in Night Audit, Guest Service Agent or Porter role – desirable
Organised, team player, self-sufficient
Confidence in working independently
Strong work ethic with the mindset of setting the broader team up for success.
Ability to work across various software systems.
Strong stakeholder relations and enthusiasm to support your guests
Immaculate presentation and strong written & verbal communication.
Prior experience in Guest Centrix PMS (CMS) – highly regarded
