We currently have two Permanent Full-time appointments available.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed-term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Position Profile: The Medical Workforce Officer provides a confidential, customer-focused administrative service for the Medical Services portfolio, and is assigned the following activities:

1. Recruitment and onboarding processes, to enable doctors to commence in the region;
2. Rostering processes, to enable doctors to work in the region;
3. Offboarding processes to enable doctors to depart from the region.

Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services, and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.
