The Opportunity We are hiring our first Product Designer to join the RIB CX team. As a key hire, you won’t just be designing screens; you’ll be setting the tone for how design fits into the way we build product. We’re looking for someone who is excited by the challenge of shaping a design culture from the ground up, and who can balance hands-on design work with user research and strategic input. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager (your primary collaborator) and Engineering to deeply understand our users, simplify complex workflows, and bring elegant and practical solutions to life. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design process: from discovery and ideation to prototyping, user testing, and final implementation Plan and conduct user research activities (interviews, surveys, observation) to uncover user behaviours, pain points, and needs Facilitate and co-lead discovery and mapping workshops such as journey mapping and story mapping with product and stakeholders Develop and maintain a reusable design system in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product Create interactive prototypes and design assets that can be easily handed off to engineering with clear documentation Run usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on qualitative and quantitative insights Interpret event tracking data and analytics with the product team to inform design improvements Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation Champion user-centric design practices within the product development lifecycle Contribute to building a shared design language and culture at RIB CX About You You have 4 years of experience designing digital products, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment with a strong portfolio showcasing successful product design projects and user-centric design solutions. You’ve been the only designer or led design for a complex product and enjoy working autonomously You’re equally confident in user research, UX strategy, and hands-on UI design You’ve run or co-facilitated user research and story mapping workshops You are well-versed in Lean UX and Agile practices You’re a Figma power user with experience managing design systems and component libraries Familiarity with Dovetail - or similar research tools - for organizing and analyzing user research data efficiently. Experience using Maze - or similar usability testing tools - for conducting usability testing and gathering user feedback on interactive prototypes. You are a strong communicator and collaborator, especially with PMs and engineers Experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is a bonus but not essential Why Join Us?
