What this opportunity involves
JLL is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our Property Management team in Canberra. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate property professional to contribute to the day-to-day operations of a diverse commercial property portfolio.
An overview of the role
* Manage general commercial property administration including lease administration, purchase order processing, invoice management, arrears management, critical date tracking and filing
* Support contract and contractor management as part of facilities operations
* Provide tenant liaison and assist with tenant requests
* Assist with risk and compliance management across the portfolio
* Support site teams with sustainability initiatives, events, tenant engagement and other property initiatives
* Contribute to budget preparation, outgoings recoveries, forecasts and quarterly reporting
* Manage JLL and client risk and compliance systems

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Outstanding customer service and time management capabilities
* High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Demonstrated ability to think laterally and adapt to change
* Ability to interpret standard building leases and tenant obligations
* Experience with MRI or similar property management systems is advantageous but not essential
* Real Estate Licence is preferred
