Interior Designer – Healthcare Focus
We're seeking an Interior Designer to join our Melbourne studio, with a focus on healthcare projects. The role covers all aspects of interior design across the design, documentation, and delivery phases, working closely with architectural and documentation teams.
You will develop creative, well-considered design responses to client requirements, considering healthcare-specific needs and regulations. Responsibilities include: existing conditions inspections, developing interior design schemes, 3D modelling, material and FF&E selection, preparing presentation and marketing boards, supporting contract administration, cost estimates, and project reporting in line with in-house standards..
This role forms an integral part of our team requiring close collaboration with others to achieve our Practice's mission: 'to design places where people and communities can thrive.'

Qualifications and Experience
* Undergraduate Degree in Interior Design, or accredited TAFE qualification.
* Working knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of interior design, with experience in healthcare environments preferred.
* Working knowledge of interior building materials, their function and physical properties, and construction methods
* Strong organisational, creative and presentation skills
* Basic knowledge of applicable codes, laws, rules, and standards regulating the design and construction of buildings, including healthcare-specific regulations where relevant.
* Ability to creatively portray interior design elements and develop interior planning and design schemes.
* Knowledge of and competency in the use of design and administrative software, including AutoCAD/Revit, Google SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
