Job Description
The Work Health Officer will maintain the NSW SES safety management system, implementing strategies, policies and operating procedures to prevent incidents in accordance with relevant legislation.
* Maintain accurate record keeping, analysis and reporting of WHS performance metrics
* Manage and coordinate investigations of incidents, near misses and unsafe work conditions
* Maintain safety management systems and implement risk control measures
* Develop safety strategies and tools, conduct WHS system audits and review results

Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and relevant experience in occupational health and safety.
A background in project management, leadership or business administration would also be highly regarded.
Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
