The role
This is a working supervisor role that combines strong mechanical and leadership skills. You will be responsible for all mechanical repairs, maintenance, and reliability of production equipment while leading and developing a small technical team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. About the Role Lead and supervise a small maintenance team Perform hands-on mechanical repairs, fault finding, and preventative maintenance Minimise downtime and ensure smooth plant operations Promote a strong safety culture and best practice standards About You Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent (Australian recognised or formally assessed overseas qualification) Minimum 5 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Previous experience leading or supervising a small team (Leading Hand experience highly regarded) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills SAP experience is advantageous Connect/Disconnect (Test & Tag) Licence preferred Full Australian work rights This is a great opportunity for a proactive, safety-focused tradesperson who enjoys both hands-on technical work and leading a small team.
