Total Freight Solutions are Tasmania's leading 3PL Warehousing and Logistics company and we are looking for a team orientated employee to join our successful business.
The Role: Located at our facility in Cambridge near Hobart airport, we are looking for someone who loves a great team environment and a passion for providing exceptional service to our customers and stakeholders. We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, motivated and determined individual with experience in warehousing and a great driving record. Initially the role will be a 50% delivery driving role and 50% warehouse duties, including forklift driving. Flexibility is the key indicator for this particular role.
We provide 3PL services for predominantly medical products (non-pharmaceutical) for distribution throughout Tasmania and pride ourselves on a high level of customer service, care in handling of our client's products and keeping our facility clean.
This position is a Full-time position working Monday to Friday with no weekend work. Some overtime will be required from time to time as we navigate peak periods and leave coverage requirements.

Scope of Work Performed: Responsible for the successful coordination and completion of delivery and pickup and warehouse activities or projects directly related to Daily Warehouse Operation. The occupant works under direction from the Team Leader, however the occupant will generally be required to work with limited supervision and initiative.
Key Tasks:
* operating a variety of forklift vehicles - counter balance and articulated.
* unloading stock from containers, trucks and other vehicles.
* pick/pack stock items including batch-controlled stock on a FEFO basis.
* verifying pick accuracy of orders picked by other staff.
* processing orders through a Warehouse Management System
* checking off inbound deliveries against Manifests and put away into selective racking.
* conduct local Hobart deliveries in Van
* ensuring efficiency in Delivery Schedules maintaining DIFOT
* ensuring stock and storage areas are clean and organised
Skills and Experience:
* Current Forklift license - Essential.
* Any forklift licence type is acceptable to meet the licensing requirement.
* Clean and current motor vehicle license - Essential
* A clean driving record is defined as having no major offences.
* At least 12 months experience in Courier driving and warehousing preferable.
* Both courier driving experience and warehousing experience are required for this position.
* Basic Level of Computer skills
