**The centre and the role**:
This amazing 40 place centre provides an environment and learning culture for children to be active and engaged learners. A child's ability is one factor in achievement; however, the amount of effort a child makes has, even more to do with their success in learning.
Each child has the natural ability to question, interpret and understand the world around them. The educational focus is on the individual strengths and needs of the child and children are always encouraged to explore, have opinions and provide suggestions.
**About the position**
We are seeking an experienced Diploma Room Leader.
You will have knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and experience documenting children's learning. You will understand the importance of collaborative relationships with children, work respectfully as a team member, have well rounded communication skills and be committed to going above and beyond with curiosity and an openness to learning.
**Skills / qualifications / experience**
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Approved first aid qualification; anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management certificates
- Working with Children Check clearance
- A flexible, mature and friendly team player who is a confident communicator verbal and written.
- Understanding of child protection responsibilities as a mandatory reporter and child safe principles
- Commitment to a safe work environment
- Working and contributing to a team
- Skill and confidence in documenting children learning
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
