Join TVH as a Logistics Co-ordinator and play a pivotal role in our global supply chain, ensuring our extensive catalogue of quality parts reach our Oceania customers. This role involves close collaboration with both internal departments and external logistics providers, focusing on efficient shipment management and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Responsibilities include
Import & Compliance Management
* Execute accurate data entry of import documentation and produce detailed reports to support inbound warehouse operations.
* Manage import clearance by proactively providing shipping agents with necessary documentation to minimise delays.
* Ensure regulatory accuracy by verifying that all ETAs are correct in the system and reviewing late shipments to keep internal stakeholders informed.
* Resolve shipment discrepancies in collaboration with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy.
Logistics Coordination & Support
* Optimise shipping methods by liaising with internal commercial teams to identify the most cost-effective transport solutions.
* Manage freight bookings, including LCL export freight and the coordination of container drops and empty collections.
* Provide expert guidance to internal customers by delivering accurate import freight and domestic quotations.
* Oversee financial accuracy by reviewing and authorising import freight and domestic invoices.
* Provide assistance and backup activities for the purchasing team.
About you – Skills, experience and qualifications
You are a detail-oriented logistics professional with a good understanding of international trade and a passion for ensuring supply chain efficiency. To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
* 1-3 years of experience in foreign trade or logistics activities, with a proven track record in coordinating shipments.
* A good understanding of both domestic and global import regulations and the ability to stay informed on any regulatory changes.
* In-depth knowledge of all documentation required for the seamless clearance of goods.
* Experience working effectively in high-volume, intensive data entry environments where accuracy is critical.
* Prior experience in Dangerous Goods (DG) for both air and sea transport is an advantage.
* Experience in freight analysis to help identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements is an advantage.
