Position Information
Ulladulla High School is a large co-educational, rural coastal community school on the South Coast of NSW, with an enrolment of 1,152 students. The school draws from a wide geographic area, spanning from Bawley Point in the south to Manyana in the north, and reflects the diversity and character of its broader community. The senior executive and teaching staff prioritise innovative, evidence-informed pedagogy, with a clear focus on preparing students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. There is a strong emphasis on developing future-focused learners equipped with the skills and capabilities needed for successful post-school pathways.

Responsibilities
* Plan and lead the provision of high-quality differentiated professional learning, utilising technology innovation to achieve school improvement.
* Build a collaborative whole-school learning culture that actively fosters new links with the broader community.
* Create inclusive, culturally safe learning environments, embedding Aboriginal perspectives across the curriculum.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
