The role
We're on the hunt for an experienced Store Manager to join our Canelands store who can inspire, coach, and drive success. As a Store Manager at City Beach, you will oversee all aspects of store operations while building and leading a motivated, high‑performing team. You will champion a customer‑first culture, ensure operational excellence, and play a key role in supporting the continued success of our retail network.
What you'll do
* Create a customer‑centric, development‑focused culture that delivers outstanding team and customer experiences.
* Lead the store team to meet KPIs and operational goals across Sales, People, Compliance, Visual Merchandising, Wages, and Safety.
* Oversee daily operations, including team leadership, stock control, loss prevention, store presentation, and promotional execution.
* Manage wages to support profitability, efficiency, and customer service standards.
* Analyse store performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities and implement improvement strategies.
* Coach, train, and develop team members to build capability, drive performance, and support career growth.
* Recruit, develop, and retain talent to maintain an engaged, high‑performing team.
* Ensure a safe, compliant, and positive workplace, meeting all WHS and company policy requirements.
* Lead retail initiatives, ensuring the team understands and delivers organisational objectives.
* Promote continuous learning and development to empower future leaders.
What you'll bring
* 1+ years' experience in a customer service–focused management role.
* Background in fast‑paced retail, FMCG, or hospitality (highly regarded).
* Proven track record in driving sales and achieving operational targets.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
* A hands‑on, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to coaching and store operations.
